ABOUT ME

Jon Sauer is a documentary editor based in New York City, working on long-form nonfiction series and feature documentaries for broadcast television and streaming platforms. With over 15 years of experience, he specializes in shaping complex footage into clear, emotionally engaging stories and collaborates closely with directors, producers, and showrunners on both NYC-based and remote productions.

Originally from Rochester, NY (home of the garbage plate), Jon lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son. Outside of editing, he enjoys running in Prospect Park, attending live shows (preferably the earlier ones), and faithfully cheering on the New York Mets—despite years of evidence suggesting otherwise.​​
